We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Senior Scheduler with extensive expertise in Primavera P6 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in schedule analysis and construction scheduling and must be able to manage complex schedules, critical path analysis, and project forecasting. Schedule Oversight: Provide detailed oversight and review of contractor schedule submittals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project timelines.
Critical Path Monitoring: Regularly assess and monitor the critical path activities within the project to identify potential delays or issues.
Logic Structure Assessment: Analyze the logic structures and interfaces between various schedule activities to ensure coherence and accurate project timelines.
Schedule Updates & Reporting: Update the project schedule on a monthly basis and provide comprehensive variance analysis, including recommendations for recovery and improvement when necessary.
Forecasting: Develop and present accurate schedule forecasts, keeping the project team informed of any potential risks or slippage.
Mitigation Strategies: Collaborate with the Program Scheduling Manager and Project Commercial Manager to determine mitigation strategies for any schedule slippage or project delays.
Matrix Reporting: Report in a matrix organization structure, communicating both to the Program Scheduling Manager and Project Commercial Manager on project schedule performance.
Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate schedule updates, issues, and mitigation strategies to project stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all parties.
Qualifications:
Primavera P6 Expertise: Advanced knowledge and experience in Primavera P6 is a must.
Construction Scheduling: A strong background in construction scheduling, with the ability to manage complex projects and timelines.
Schedule Analysis: Proficiency in schedule analysis and variance reporting.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in scheduling and project management, with a focus on large-scale construction projects.
Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to forecast potential issues and recommend solutions.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary Range: $125K to $150K annually, depending on experience.
Work Schedule: The role requires a hybrid work model with a minimum of two days onsite in Baltimore, Maryland. The remaining days can be remote.
