System Specialist
HIGHLIGHTS

Our client is looking for a System Specialist to join the team!
The Specialist will be responsible for Windows upgrades, Windows Patch & Vulnerability Remediation and will provide support with all associated testing prior to deployment, and process improvement.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree required or related experience
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- 1-2 years experience with Microsoft Patching
Basic skills:
- Server and System Engineering
- Has basic understanding of WSUS
- Current with latest technologies
- Well versed in OS types as Windows 2003, 2008, and 2012 technologies and versions associated with IE in a support application environment
- Extremely document focused with high degree of skills in Office,
- Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio and other tools to show results and demonstrate solutions
- Asset Management experience with tools and process
- Experience with Anti-Virus technologies
- Deliver a high-quality IT service including security policies and up to date patching for software
- Experience working with Group Policy Administration
- Experience working with: Microsoft Active Directory
- Knowledge of Microsoft products such as SharePoint, UAG, IIS, and SQL server
- Knowledge of authentication methods from application to AD such as NTLM, Kerberos, and LDAP as well as protocols such as: ssh, smtp, snmp, dns, http, https, and network protocols
- Familiar with Microsoft patching schedules and methods
