Position Overview

The ES Territory Executive II –E&P is a direct sales and account management professional responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening customer relationships within the oil and gas sector. This role supports upstream Exploration & Production (E&P) clients by delivering comprehensive oilfield waste management and environmental services solutions.

The Territory Executive manages and grows a portfolio of new and existing customers, offering services across treatment, recovery and disposal facilities (TRD), engineered landfills, and salt water disposal (SWD) injection wells. Success in this role requires consultative selling, regulatory awareness, pipeline development, CRM utilization, and strategic account planning.

 

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Customer Retention

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision makers across assigned E&P accounts.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, including growth strategies, risk assessments, and customer retention initiatives.

  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to expand total waste stream management solutions.

  • Facilitate Environmental Service Agreements (ESAs), pricing proposals, and onboarding documentation.

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and proactive outreach.

  • Drive new customer acquisition within oilfield waste management and environmental services markets.

  • Execute consultative sales strategies aligned with customer operational needs and regulatory requirements.

  • Achieve targeted profitable revenue growth and contribute to regional sales objectives.

Environmental Solutions & Regulatory Alignment

  • Understand customer operations, drilling programs, and environmental compliance requirements.

  • Design customized waste disposal and environmental service solutions.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, compliance, and pricing teams to deliver aligned service offerings.

  • Maintain working knowledge of environmental regulations impacting oilfield waste handling and disposal.

Market Intelligence & CRM Management

  • Monitor competitive landscape, market behavior, and industry trends within designated territories.

  • Utilize CRM platforms (e.G., Salesforce) daily to:

    • Track sales activities

    • Manage pipeline stages

    • Document customer interactions

    • Forecast revenue opportunities

  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation in accordance with company policy.




Qualifications

Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in:




Sales

  • Account management

  • Business development

  • Customer-facing roles




Preferred background in:

  • Oilfield waste management

  • Environmental services

  • Drilling fluids

  • E&P support services




Technical & Industry Knowledge

  • Understanding of environmental solutions and regulatory compliance.

  • Knowledge of oilfield waste streams, disposal methods, and treatment processes.

  • Familiarity with engineered landfills, TRD facilities, and salt water disposal injection wells is highly valued.




Skills & Competencies

  • Consultative selling and solution-based sales approach.

  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Business writing skills with high attention to detail.

  • Strategic relationship management and customer retention capabilities.

  • Sales forecasting and pipeline management.

  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar).

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.




Minimum Requirements

  • 2–4 years of relevant sales or account management experience.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Ability to travel within assigned territory.
