Job Description

VP, Operations (IT Solutions)
Location: Houston, TX
Onsite 4 days/week, 1 remote
Salary: Targeting $150K + 20-25% Bonus

Position Summary:

As the Operations Executive, you will play the pivotal role of Integrator, merging various business functions to exceed strategic and financial objectives. You will convert ideas into actionable plans, ensuring alignment across all departments and driving the business forward with precision and accountability.

Day to Day:
  • Consistently execute the business plan, aligning all major functions and exceeding P&L objectives
  • Develop and implement ITIL and CIS security controls, advancing our clients cybersecurity and compliance posture
  • Lead their AI and Automation Center of Excellence, automating processes to enhance operational efficiency
  • Manage the Network Operations Center (NOC), oversee SOC partners, and ensure exceptional service desk operations
  • Promote interdepartmental communication and streamline processes to enhance clarity and effectiveness across the organization
  • Challenge and collaborate with senior leadership, maintaining thorough focus on achieving company goals and KPIs
Ideal Candidate:
  • Comes from an IT Solutions Provider or Managed Service Provider with experience in similar revenue environments (~$3-5M)
  • Expert in change management and operational excellence with a minimum of ten (10) years in leadership roles
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills, decisiveness, and the ability to uphold company values and enforce high standards
  • Skilled in financial and operational planning, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance metrics
Background/Experience:
  • Significant experience in managing P&L and service delivery within an IT solutions environment
  • Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, CRM, PSA, and ERP systems
  • Demonstrable experience in driving team performance and achieving strategic objectives
