Job Description
GTN is seeking a VP of Application Development who can lead the end-to-end management and innovation of our portfolio of software applications, taking charge from conceptualization through launch and ongoing program management. Experience with cellular applications for cameras and outdoor industry product knowledge preferred.
You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to define and refine our applications while ensuring alignment with evolving industry standards and best practices.
You will provide strategic direction by directing the review and decision-making process for our applications, leveraging insights from risk assessments and market trends to guide informed decisions.
You will recommend and document software development best practices, testing practices, standard tooling, and infrastructure to promote code maintainability, security, and quality.
You will establish and implement robust policies, procedures, and reporting mechanisms to rigorously monitor, evaluate, and test the performance of our applications, ensuring a culture of transparency and accountability.
You will implement best practices and methodologies for software development, quality assurance, and project management to optimize efficiency and productivity.
This is a direct hire role and located in Nevada.
